Insulated glass are hermetically sealed combinations of 2 or more panes of glass separated by a dry airspace. The air trapped between the two pieces of glass acts as an insulator slowing the rate at which heat and cold can pass through th unit. The more air sandwiched between the glass the , the better insulator effect you have .

Insulated glass improves thermal performance, significantly reducing heating and air conditioning costs.

Insulated glass also reduces interior condensation in cold climate .Sbustitute one of the two pieces of glass with a special coated glass ,that is Low-E glass or a colored piece of  tinted glass ,you can dramatically slow  heat trsfer even further .Meanwhile , there are many other ways to build an insulated glass, such as low-iron glass,silk-screen glass, laminated glass, decorative glass and spandrel glass.Gas like argon or krypton can add to the airspace to add a bit more insulating value to the whole insulated glass.

The methods for constructing an insulated glass for residential use differ from glass used in commercial settings. Spacer is the primary focus. Usually,we use Aluminum Bars as the spacer, which can meet most of the clients. But somtimes, for higher requirment, we will use a Super Spacer ,which will improve the performance of insulated glass maximally.
