BHP Billiton said it has Sent Purchase Intentions but Turn off by Rio Tinto

News from London, Nov. 8: The biggest mine company in the world—BHP Billiton said in Thursday it has sent purchase intentions to Rio Tinto but turn off by it. “BHP Billiton has conformed that it had been written to Rio Tinto Broad on a combination proposal, and suggest some condition such as the price” BHO Billiton said in an announcement. “Rio Tinto turned off this proposal, and BHP Billiton wrote again said that they will continue to seek opportunity for cooperation.” It said. Affected by this news, Rio’s LME stock price rose 20%.
