BHP To Cooperate With Chinese Mining Companies

BHP Billiton has determined to cooperate with Chinese companies in exploiting overseas minerals to meet growing demand from China, said BHP, the largest miner in the world. It also noted that the step was designed to reduce obstacles from China in its process of acquiring Rio. In view of Chinese companies’ ability in raising funds and investment, BHP said the cooperation will focus on small and medium mining projects while taking advantage of its advanced technology and experience in exploration and development.
