Australian Alumina Ltd. Appoints New CEO John Bevan

Australian alumina producer Alumina Ltd. announced today the appointment of John Bevan as the chief executive officer, taking place of John Marlay since June 16, 2008. Bevan was executive director in BOC Group PLC prior at joining Alumina, responsible for its international business, said Alumina. Marlay, informing the board of director he is hoping for other interests in late 2007, has been in the CEO position over the past 6 years.
