Australian Whinnen Awarded 85% Stake in Cameroonian Bauxite Project

Australian Whinnen Resources Co. announced it has signed a contract with Cameroon for an 85% stake in the country’s Fongo Tongo bauxite project. The mine is estimated to meet demand for 1-million-ton bauxite mining and an annual 400,000t alumina production. Whinnen plans to export bauxite in the near future as well as to set an alumina plant with Cameroonian government. COPYRIGHT All rights reserved.
