Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba)’s sponsorship support for Bahrain Training Institute (BTI)’s Career Week 2012 presents an opportunity for the company to engage with young Bahraini men and women looking for career advice, encourage them to consider the aluminium industry as a career option and share with them the story of Alba’s success in the past forty years.

The Career Week 2012 – taking place from April 24 to 26, 2012 at the BTI premises -- is being held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Majed bin Ali Al Nuaimi.

Alba will be having a stand at the event where company representatives will be on hand to meet and interact with BTI graduates and trainees, and share with them what it takes to be an Alba employee.

Commenting on Alba’s support as Platinum Sponsor of BTI’s Career Week 2012, the company’s Chief Executive, Laurent Schmitt said:

"For the past twelve years, Alba has always taken part in BTI’s Career Week in recognition of the valuable service it plays in broadening awareness of career opportunities for BTI’s graduates and trainees. As a Bahraini company, we welcome and support every initiative that provides young Bahrainis with tips on maximising their career options and learning on how they can make a mark in the professional world.”

More than 24 companies comprising some of the leading lights in Bahrain’s corporate world are expected to participate in BTI’s Career Week 2012.

Since 1992, BTI’s founding philosophy has been to meet the training needs of the manufacturing, commercial, servicing and construction companies as well as to provide the national workforce with the necessary vocational skills that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of industrial performance. It also includes a commitment to enhance the employability of job seekers, train Bahraini youth to establish and manage small enterprises and to contribute in reinforcing Bahrain’s role as a regional hub for human resource development.
