Alcan US Nov transaction price rises to $1.28/lb

NEW YORK, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Alcan Inc. (AL.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) (AL.N: Quote, Profile, Research), the world's second-largest maker of primary aluminum, said Tuesday its posted U.S. November transaction price for aluminum products was $1.28 per lb. up 8 cents from October.

Alcan said its price for 99.7 remelt increased to $1.28 a lb., while its 6063 extrusion billet price rose to $1.38 a lb.
