Alcan Increasing Prices for Rolled Products

Alcan Rolled Products-Ravenswood LLC, Ravenswood, West Virginia recently announced that it intends to increase prices by .02¢ per pound on all common alloy rolled products effective with new orders as of August 13 and shipments October 1. This increase applies to all 1000-, 3000-, and 5000-series alloys, including high magnesium alloys used in the marine and transportation industries. Also included is 6061 O and F temper coil and sheet.
