Alcan Cable hosts opening ceremony for its Tianjin aluminium alloy cable manufacturing plant

MONTREAL, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ - Alcan Cable, part of Alcan Engineered Products - a business unit of Rio Tinto - hosted a grand opening ceremony today for its recently commissioned aluminium alloy cable manufacturing facility located in Tianjin, People's Republic of China. Attending the ceremony were prominent Chinese government officials and Alcan Cable Management. The world-class Tianjin Plant is the first production facility wholly owned by Alcan Cable in China.
