Alcan Cable launches redesigned website

PARIS, France, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ - Alcan Cable, part of Alcan Engineered Products - a business unit of Rio Tinto - announces the launch of their redesigned company website showcasing its aluminum and aluminum alloy cable products, rod and strip, and modular wiring systems. The updated website provides a fresh new look and allows customers and visitors to easily identify and access more information and data about Alcan Cable and their products.

The information on the updated website is organized and presented in a manner that allows the user to easily and logically navigate through the site.

The website features a readily accessible sales representative and technical support locator, and dedicated sections for the company's Sustainability policy and Value Added Services offering. A feature application on the new site is the MODEX(R) Product Assembly Configuration tool that allows the user to design a wiring system by inputting their design specifications. The website utilizes flash designs to highlight product offerings and also includes call out boxes to direct users to specific product promotions and technical documents.
