Union workers at the Alcan Rolled Products plant in Ravenswood will vote next week on the company's latest contract offer.
United Steelworkers Local 5668 announced Thursday on its website that the vote is set for July 8 and July 9. An informational meeting for union members will be held July 7.
Union members will continue to work under the existing contract, which was extended a third time since it expired June 1.
Details of Alcan's latest contract offer weren't released. Union workers rejected the company's previous offer.
About 700 of the plant's 1,000 workers are union members.
