Rio Tinto Alcan No Longer Pursuing Sarawak Aluminum Smelter Plan

 

 

“While a great deal of progress was made in negotiations with Sarawak Energy Bhd., agreement on a long-term competitive power supply contract could not be reached,” Rio Tinto Alcan Chief Executive Officer Jacynthe Cote said in a statement today.
