China exported 962,893 tons of aluminium and aluminium alloy in the first three quarters, down 5.8% from the same period a year earlier, according to General Customs Administration.
The exports in September were 109,137 tons, down 12.2% from August.
The scrap aluminium imports in September increased by 28% from August to 191,364 tons, which was the largest monthly import volume of the year. The scrap aluminium imports increased by 3% in the first three quarters to 1.27 mln tons.
