ABDA:Production of primary aluminum grows 5.1% in November

 The production of primary aluminum in Brazil kept in November the rising trend registered during the entire year. According to figures provided by the Brazilian Association of Aluminum - ABAL, during November, 132,8 thousand tons of primary aluminum were produced - a volume 5.1% superior compared to the 126,4 thousand tons registered during the same month of 2005.

Considering the accumulated production during the year, the volume achieved 1.466,2 thousand tons, indicating a 7.4% grow when compared to the same period of 2005, when 1.365,2 thousand tons were produced.
