Chalco sees aluminium price up to USD 2,300 per tonne rest of year

Reuters cited Mr Luo Jianchuan president of Aluminium Corporation of China as saying that his company expects global aluminium prices to hold in a range of USD 1,800 per tonne to USD 2,300 per tonne for the rest of the year. Mr Luo said that the LME aluminium price MAL3 is trading around USD 1,920 per tonne. Domestic prices were expected to range from CNY 14,000 per tonne to CNY 16,000 per tonne. (Sourced from Reuters)
