Taiwanese aluminium killed steel wire rod price raises

It is reported that Al killed steel wire rod price has increased to TWD 28,000 to TWD 28,500 per tonne in Taiwanese market as China Steel Corporation raised its list price. However, local fastener producers thought current price is too high to accept since China’s wire rod price is decreasing. Market player said that wire rod price is unlikely to drop further under current circumstance of shortage in raw material supply despite slow demands from local fastener industries.
