Aluminium futures up on fresh buying, global cues

New Delhi, Oct 14 Aluminium futures prices gained 0.85 per cent today on fresh buying by traders following pick up in demand in spot markets. At the MCX, aluminium for November contract gained 0.85 per cent to Rs 88.60 per kg with an open interest in 414 lots. Similarly, aluminium for delivery in October contract traded higher by 0.80 per cent to Rs 87.70 per kg with an open interest in 1,968 lots. Marketmen said fresh buying by traders supported by a firming trend in spot markets mainly pushed up aluminium prices at futures trade.
