Shanghai warehouse copper stocks up 3 pct

SHANGHAI, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Deliverable copper inventories in warehouses monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange rose 3 percent from one week earlier, while deliverable aluminium inventories edged down, the exchange said on Friday. Deliverable copper inventories rose to 104,710 tonnes from 101,277 tonnes a week ago, while copper stocks on warrant declined 1,036 tonnes to 33,552 tonnes. Deliverable aluminium inventories fell to 270,317 tonnes from 270,416 tonnes a week earlier. Stocks on warrant rose 5,827 tonnes to 224,288 tonnes. Deliverable zinc inventories fell to 166,575 tonnes from 166,816 tonnes last week, and stocks on warrant gained 3,100 tonnes to 143,833 tonnes. (Reporting by Rujun Shen and Jacqueline Wong)
