Shanghai warehouse copper down 9 pct on week

SHANGHAI, Dec 11 - Deliverable copper inventories in warehouses monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange fell 9 percent from one week earlier, while deliverable aluminium inventories rose 10 percent, the exchange said on Friday. Deliverable copper inventories fell to 95,676 tonnes from 104,710 tonnes a week ago, while copper stocks on warrant gained 968 tonnes to 34,520 tonnes. Deliverable aluminium inventories rose to 297,098 tonnes from 270,317 tonnes one week earlier. Stocks on warrant rose 2,911 tonnes to 227,199 tonnes. Deliverable zinc inventories rose to 167,800 tonnes from 166,575 tonnes last week, and stocks on warrant rose 7,522 tonnes to 151,355 tonnes.
