NEW DELHI: Aluminium futures fell by 0.19 per cent at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday after traders booked profits at the previous levels. At the MCX platform, aluminium for January contract fell by Rs 0.20 or 0.19 per cent to Rs 105.40 per kg, with an open interest of 392 lots, while December contract was down by Rs 0.15, or 0.14 per cent to Rs 104.70 per kg, clocking in a turnover of 1,54 6 lots. Analysts said profit-taking by speculators at higher levels mainly pulled down the prices at futures market here but the firming trend at the LME restricted losses. Meanwhile, at the LME, aluminium rose 1.03 per cent or $23 to $2,265 per tonne. — PTI
