Shanghai warehouse copper stocks down 1 pct

SHANGHAI, Dec 31 (Reuters) - Deliverable copper inventories in warehouses monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange fell 1 percent from one week earlier, while deliverable aluminium inventories rose marginally, the exchange said on Thursday. Deliverable copper inventories fell to 95,315 tonnes from last week's 96,362 tonnes, while copper stocks on warrant gained 557 tonnes to 31,166 tonnes. Deliverable aluminium inventories rose to 297,509 tonnes from the previous week's 297,308 tonnes. Stocks on warrant rose 1,326 tonnes to 256,025 tonnes. Deliverable zinc inventories rose to 171,900 tonnes from 171,670 tonnes, and stocks on warrant rose 1,826 tonnes to 162,286 tonnes. (Reporting by Rujun Shen and Edmund Klamann)
