Dec 22 (Reuters) - Shanghai's benchmark third-month copper futures contract SCFc3 hit a 33-month high at 70,000 yuan ($10,513)a tonne on Wednesday, tracking a record-setting rally in London prices in the previous session.
Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange rose to $9,390 a tonne, just a hair off the record level of $9,392 reached on Tuesday. ($1 = 6.658 Chinese yuan) (Reporting by Rujun Shen; Editing by Himani Sarkar)
