Shanghai Copper Stockpiles Fall 11% This Week, Bourse Says

 Copper stockpiles monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange declined 11 percent this week, bourse data showed.

 
 
Inventories of copper fell by 9,190 metric tons to 74,199 tons, according to a survey of 10 warehouses in Shanghai, the exchange said on its website today. The metal stored at bonded warehouses gained 656 tons to 12,502 tons.
 
 
Zinc stockpiles fell 977 tons to 365,526 tons, based on a survey of 15 warehouses in Shanghai, Guangdong and Zhejiang, while lead stored dropped 3,534 tons to 49,016 tons.
 
 
Aluminum inventories rose 40,430 tons to 179,443 tons, according to a survey of 20 warehouses in Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, bourse data showed.
 
 
Natural-rubber inventories gained 1,425 tons to 29,194 tons, based on a survey of 10 warehouses in Shanghai, Shandong, Yunnan, Hainan and Tianjin, the bourse said in the weekly report.
