The Ministry of Industry plan to revise Aluminum industry access

The Ministry of Industry began to seek opinions in public with regard to “The terms of Aluminum industry access (2012)  ” yesterday. These terms of access cover monohydrallite enterprise, alumina enterprise, electrolytic aluminum enterprise and secondary aluminum enterprise.

As recommended, this exposure draft revised based on “The terms of Aluminum industry access (2007)”, aiming to quicken aluminum industrial upgrading, promote the sustained and coordinated development of aluminum industry, standard the production and management order of aluminum enterprises and make sure to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction. This exposure draft formulate the enterprises’ overall arrangement, dimensions, external conditions, quality ,draft, equipment, energy consumption, resource consumption and admittance management. It refers to the starting form of aluminum project is annual production capacity of 800,000 tons or more; The annal production capacity of new secondary aluminum project is over 100,000 tons; The production access form of existing aluminum enterprises is annual production capacity of 50,000 tons or more. The deadline of this consultation is Feb,8th,2013.
