China's nonferrous metals' output totaled 19.47 million tons in the first half year

Data from China's National Development and Reform Commission showed that in the first half year, 10 kinds of non-ferrous metals' output totaled 19.47 million tons, increased by 10% year-on-year, and the increase speed is up 3.3%.


The data shows that major nonferrous metals' price has recovered. In June, the future average price of copper, electrolytic aluminum, and lead in the Shanghai Futures Exchange increased by 2.6%, 1.5%, 1.1%, 0.8% month-on-month.


From January to May, the profit of the nonferrous metal industry totaled 65.17 billion RMB, decreased by 7.1% year-on-year, in which the profit of the nonferrous metal mining industry totaled 25.38 billion RMB, decreased by 4.4%, and the profit of the nonferrous metal rolling industry totaled 39.79 billion RMB, decreased by 8.8%.
