Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has spread again in Xinjiang from last week, due to the immediate traffic control by the local government, the situation seemed to be under control and it did not affect the alumina shipment for the aluminum plants in Xinjiang.

A plant with an alumina consumption of 1.6 million tons per year claimed that it is now at its full operation and holds about 1 month’s stocks as normal.
