Copper, Aluminum, Nickel Drop on Concern Over Europe Debt Crisis

Copper, aluminum and nickel declined as much as 2.3 percent on concern Europe's debt crisis may spread, hurting demand for commodities.


Copper fell as much as 1.7 percent to $6,790 a metric ton before trading at $6,805. Aluminum lost as much as 1.3 percent to $2,057 a ton before trading at $2,058 and nickel slumped 2.3 percent to $21,700 before trading at $21,730.
