OSLO, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Norwegian aluminium group Norsk Hydro has signed an eight-year contract with Swedish power company Vattenfall for supply of about 18 terawatt hours (TWh) of electricity from 2013, Norsk Hydro said on Wednesday. Norsk Hydro did not disclose the value of the deal, but said it was "one of the largest cross-border contracts since the integration of the Nordic power market in the early nineties." It said the deal secured a basis for continuing operations at the Soeral aluminium plant in which it has a 49.9 percent stake and where a current contract expires in 2012.
