Hampson in talks with India's HAL to supply components

BANGALORE, India (AFX) - Hampson Industries PLC is in talks with Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) to supply aerospace components, Business Standard reported citing the company.

The company said it will be investing 20 mln usd in India over the next five years to set up a facility there. The company is targeting to achieve annual revenue of 15 mln usd from India by 2011, it said.

Hampson said it aims to manufacture and supply jet engine components, aluminium body skins and high speed aluminium engine parts for the aviation industry.
