MUMBAI, April 18 - The following stocks were on the move at the BSE on Wednesday.
At 11:02 a.m. the benchmark 30-share BSE index was up 0.81 percent at 13,717 points.
The 50-share National Stock Exchange Index was up 0.92 percent at 4021.45 points.

* Metals firms stocks Hindustan Zinc Ltd. , Sterlite Industries Ltd. , Hindalco Industries Ltd. and National Aluminium Co. Ltd. are up 2-4.4 percent on firm international prices. Copper, zinc and aluminium futures rose 2.5-6 percent on London Metal Exchange on Tuesday.

* HCL Technologies Ltd. jumped 5.5 percent to 318.50 rupees after it reported a 72 percent jump in March quarter net profit from a year ago. The software firm's consolidated net profit for the quarter was 3.32 billion rupees.

* Tata Steel Ltd. touched a low of 496.35 rupees after it announced a plan to raise $4.1 billion, including a rights share issue, to fund its takeover of Corus. The shares were down 5 percent at 502.40 rupees.
