India's state-run National Aluminum Co. Ltd. (532234.BY), or Nalco, is seeking to export up to 30,000 metric tons of alumina in a sale tender which is likely to be concluded over the next two-three working days, a senior company official said Wednesday.
The alumina is expected to be shipped next month, he added.
The latest alumina tender by Nalco, has gone for $423 a metric ton, according to market sources.
NALCO exported around 90,000-100,000 tons of alumina in the financial year ended March 31, 2007.
