Ess Dee Aluminium says Morgan Stanley invests 870.75 mln rupees in co

India's Ess Dee Aluminium Ltd said Morgan Stanley (NYSE:BDJ) (NYSE:MS) (NYSE:MWJ) (NASDAQ:ESTX) (NASDAQ:MNDX) invested 870.75 mln rupees in return for 1.41 mln preferential shares in the company. Chairman and managing director Sudip Dutta told Thomson Financial News that the company will use the funds for capital expansion to leverage the opportunities in packaging for the pharma, food and the consumer goods sectors. Dutta added that the company will also drive growth via acquisitions. Volrado Venture Partners holds 6.06 pct while Fidelity Trustee Company Pvt Ltd holds 5.21 pct and Deutsche Securities Mauritius Ltd has 2.11 pct stake in Ess Dee, the company said in a release to the Bombay (OTCBB:BBAO) Stock Exchange. Ess Dee will seek shareholder approval for the allotment at its EGM on Sept 3.
