NALCO gets 10 bids for alumina tender

NEW DELHI - State-run National Aluminium Co Ltd has received a total of 10 bids against a long-term alumina sale tender for 300,000 tonnes, two trade sources said on Thursday. The prices bid are below 13 percent of the London Metal Exchange aluminium price, they said. The tender is expected to be awarded after negotiations with the bidders in five to seven days, they added. Officials at the company were not immediately available for comment.
