India NALCO to sell 300,000 tonnes alumina-sources

NEW DELHI, Oct 17 - India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd has finalised the sale of 300,000 tonnes of alumina to two international trading firms, two sources said on Wednesday. A company official, who did not want to be identified, said the alumina would be sold at 12.88 percent of the London Metal Exchange aluminium price in the next one year. The two global firms will buy 150,000 tonnes each of alumina, he said. A trade source also confirmed the deal, while a spokesman for NALCO could not be immediately reached for comment.
