Vedanta Alumina refinery Second Production line will be put into production by the end of this December

Vedanta said the second production line of its Lanjigarh alumina refinery will put into production by the end of this year; this refinery can produce 1.4million alumina each year. Its first production line was brought into production in 3Q this year, it is estimated the two production lines will stably production in the first quarter next year. The bauxite the refinery need from the nearby mine ores, it was beat by environmentalists and tribal, and this problem will sent to India senior court because of environmental problems. The company said “they hope this matter can bring to a satisfactory close soon.”
