India exporter said bauxite price has risen to 70$/metric ton

The biggest India bauxite producer Ashapura Minechem said bauxite price has risen to 70$/metric ton, including insurance fee and transportation Fee. Increasing rate is 15% and 28% in 2007 and 2006. From January, bauxite price has grown 30%, doubled of last year, because China demanding decrease, Indonesia export volume decreased. China bauxite import come from Indonesia.
