Bhoruka Aluminium disclosed a substantial rise in its standalone net profit for the first quarter ended June 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 32.43% to Rs 8.29 million from Rs 6.26 million in the same quarter, last year.
The company posted earnings of Rs 1.83 a share during the quarter, registering 32.61% growth over prior year period.
Net sales declined marginally 1.23% to Rs 342 million, while total income for the quarter fell marginally 1.83% to Rs 341.92 million, when compared with the prior year period.
