Hindalco: needs to restate Novelis accounts

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Hindalco Industries, India's leading aluminium producer, said on Monday the financial statement of its Canadian unit Novelis needed to be restated for a non-cash error of $45 million. Hindalco last year acquired Novelis for $5.9 billion.
