NALCO offers 240,000T alumina at 13.3pct of LME-source

NEW DELHI, Oct 16 - India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd will sell 240,000 tonnes alumina at 13.29 percent of the London Metal Exchange price of aluminium, a company source with direct knowledge of matter, said on Thursday. NALCO had issued a long-term tender for the sale which closed on Wednesday. Deliveries will start in January and run till the end of 2009.
