Nalco to raise smelting capacity by 110,000 tpy by June

India's National Aluminium Co (Nalco) will raise its aluminium smelting capacity by 110,000 tpy, to 460,000 tpy by June, executive director for smelters and power plants A.K. Sharma told MB. The new potline was officially commissioned on December 26 when the first pot was formally switched on at Angul in Orissa state, said Sharma.
