India NALCO sells 30,000T alumina at $191.13/tonne

MUMBAI, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Indian state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina at $191.13 a tonne, a company source said on Thursday. The buyer of the commodity was South Africa's Standard Bank , the senior official who did not want to be named said. NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark for alumina prices, last sold alumina at $195.25 a tonne early this month. (Reporting by Ruchira Singh)
