India's NALCO sells alumina at $227.64/T-source

BHUBANESHWAR, India, April 8 - India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina at $227.64 a tonne, a company source involved in the decision said on Wednesday. NALCO's tender for the alumina was floated in March and closed on Tuesday. The company, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, sold alumina in Feb at $191.13 a tonne.
