India NALCO sells aluminium at $89/T premium-source

BHUBANESWAR, India, June 10 (Reuters) - India's National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) sold 3,000 tonnes of primary aluminium ingots at a premium of $89 a tonne over the average LME cash price on a CIF basis, a senior company official said on Wednesday. The company also sold 1,500 tonnes of primary aluminium sows at a premium of $73 a tonne over LME on a CIF basis, said the official, who has direct knowledge of the sales but did not want to be indentified. The shipment of the goods would take place over the three months starting from July, the official added. NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold aluminium ingots at the end of May at a premium of $69 a tonne over LME.
