BHUBANESWAR, India, June 17 (Reuters) - Indian state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) sold 6,000 tonnes of primary aluminium ingots at a premium of $83.33 a tonne over the average LME cash price on a CIF basis, a senior company official said on Wednesday. The buyer was European trading firm Trafigura, said the official, who has direct knowledge of the sale but did not want to be named. The shipment would take place over six months starting from July, the official added. NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold aluminium ingots at a premium of $89 a tonne over LME earlier this month.
