NALCO sells aluminium at $84.66/T premium-source

MUMBAI, July 24 (Reuters) - India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) sold 4,500 tonnes of primary aluminium ingots at a premium of $84.66 per tonne to the LME cash price on a CIF basis, a senior company source said on Friday. The buyer of the consignment was European trading firm Trafigura, said the official who has direct knowledge of the deal but could not be named. NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold aluminium ingots at a premium of $83 per tonne on LME last week. (Reporting by Jatindra Dash)
