NALCO sells aluminium at USD 83 per tonne premium to LME

Reuters reported that India's state run National Aluminium Company Limited sold 5,000 tonnes of primary aluminium ingots at a premium of USD 83 per tonne to the LME cash price on a CIF basis. The official who has direct knowledge of the deal but could not be named said that the buyer of the consignment was Japan's Sumitomo Corporation. NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold aluminium ingots at a premium of USD 84.66 per tonne on LME at the end of July? (Sourced from Reuters)
