NALCO sells aluminium at $85.25/T premium-source

BHUBANESWAR, India, Sept 11 (Reuters) - India's National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) has sold 3,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots to a London-based company at a premium of $85.25 per tonne to the LME cash price on a CIF basis, a senior company source said on Friday. The state-run firm has also sold 1,500 tonnes of aluminium sows to a Swiss-based company at a premium of $75.16 per tonne to the LME cash price on a CIF basis, said the official who has direct knowledge of the deal but could not be named. There were seven bidders for the products and the shipment would start by the end of this month and conclude in December, the source said. (Reporting by Jatindra Dash; Editing by John Mair)
