India's NALCO issues aluminium sale tender - source

BHUBANESWAR, India, Oct 26 (Reuters) - India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) (NALU.BO) on Monday issued a tender to sell 8,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots in global markets, a company source with knowledge of the matter said. The metal would be supplied to the buyer in four batches from November to February, said the source, who is close to the tendering process but could not be named due to company policy. The last date for submission of bids is Nov. 2, the source added. NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark for prices, last sold aluminium ingots in October at $85.58 a tonne premium over the LME cash price on a CIF basis, the same source had said.
