Bhoruka Aluminium to set up power plant in Karnataka

It is reported that Mysore based Bhoruka Aluminium Ltd part of the Bhoruka Group has proposed to set up a captive power plant in Karnataka in the next three years. The report quoted Mr Rajat Agarwal Executive Director of Bhoruka Aluminium Ltd as saying that the company is in the process of identifying land for setting up the plant. He said that the proposed initial capacity is 2 MW. Mr Agarwal said that “With this line, we have increased production capacity from 800 tonnes to 2,000 tonnes of aluminium extrusions per month.” Mr Agarwal said the company also planned to set up its fourth production line (in their Mysore plant) by next year for increasing capacity from the present 2,000 tonnes to 2,600 tonnes per month.
