India NALCO sold 150,000 T alumina in 2010 contract

BHUBANESWAR, India, Dec 2 (Reuters) - India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) sold 150,000 tonnes of alumina in a long-term contract at 15.055 percent of the prevailing LME aluminium price on an FOB basis, a company source said on Wednesday. The alumina will be supplied to trading company Glencore in batches over 2010, the source added. NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold alumina in a similar long-term contract in October at 14.95 percent of the LME aluminium price on an FOB basis.
